They have an idea of who you are. That’s who they’re talking to.
They have an idea of who you are based on their estimation of their status in relation to your status.
If they believe you occupy a lower status than they do, they will wield power, not logic.
Silently Observe. That’s all. Let them reveal themselves to you. Let them show you how they use power.
